Thought Magic is used to affect, control, alter and perceive the thoughts of other people, and distract or otherwise control the attenion of people. It can also improve the caster's own mental capacities in minor ways (brain buffs) and with Mysteries these buffs can become more powerful, or the minor buffs can be used on others. Thought Magic can also be used to percieve the memories of targets (and edit them - see below), and to facilitate medium-distance communication, a sort of telepathy with a Range of 50 km or so for the highest Spell Levels.

Thought Magic also offers Spells to edit the memories of other people (and the caster himself, although that can be dangerous), but these Spells have Emotion Magic as a prerequisite. There are also Thought Magic Spells that can facilitqate long-distance communication, with ranges of 300 km or so for SL6, but these have Divination as a prerequisite.

Emotion Magic and Thought Magic are a Realm Pair, and Thought Magic is the prerequisite for some Emotion Magic Spells that can induce exstacy, discomfort and pain. Used alone, Emotion Magi can also strengthen, alter and weaken specific emotions of other people.
