The Shadow Magic Realm contains Spells that lets the caster manipulate shadows in various ways, including creating shadows and suppressing light sources (the Realm of Light Magic can also suppress light sources, but this requires higher level Spells), and Summon and Dominate Shadow Elementals.

Summoning a Shadow Elemental should be done inside a Pentagram, for safety, and the Summoner will usually want to have a high Dominate Summoned stat.

It must be emphasized that there is no moral or ethical component to Shadow Magic. It is simply the manipulation of shadows in various ways, in the same way that the other six Element Realms enables the caster to manipulate the other six Elements.
