This article is a place to store quotes that you think might be used to illustrate some kind of point, such as a game mechanic or an important concept.

Attributes and sub-Attributes

Perception

RDJ in his first "Sherlock Holmes" movie, the blindfold scene. Quote Holmes' entire speech, but note that it's not only an example of skyhigh Perception - there's Logical Intelligence involved too, and also Area Knowledge (London) skill.

Advantages and DisAdvantages

Ethnic Look-Alike

"Leverage", season 1, episode 5 (Genegrow), when Hardison changes clothes from maíntenance worker to businessman's suit in an elevator, and an employe in the building makes the connection, and Hardison accuses the employee of being unable to tell African-Americans apart. Exact quote to be included later. (Apparently the episodes on the DVD are in a strange order. The correct episode title is "The Mile High Job".)

Distinctive Feature

The movie "Taken" (2008), when Liam Neeson tells his daughter to leave her cellular phone turned on, and shout out as thorough a description as possible, of the men who are about to abduct her. About 25 minutes 30 seconds into the movie (region 2 PAL DVD).

Also references to Tarl Cabot's highly noticable red hair, in "Nomads of Gor" by Norman.

Flaws

Vengeful

"Taken" (2008), about 1 hour 3 minutes into the movie (PAL DVD R2). "I believe you... But it's not going to save you."

Trickster

Pierce's quote from "The Great Train Robbery" (the novel), about admitting to the judge, during the trial, to having discussed his escape with the person visiting him in prison, but preferring the details of it to be a surprise. It's just perfectly illustrative cheekiness!

Perks and negPerks

Skills

Critical Strike skill

[after slashing a kidnapper's arm with a shard of glass]
Jessica Martin: Tenth grade biology. Brachial artery... pumps 30 liters of blood a minute. There's only five in the human body. I'm sorry.
This quote, from the movie "Final Call", also called "Cellular", can be used to illustrate the point of the Critical Strike skill, utilizing in-depth knowledge of the physiology of the target's species (in this case a homo sapiens sapiens) to hit where it has the greatest effect.

Plan: Subject

Harold the Tuchuk has some good quotes in "Nomads of Gor" by Norman, especially during his first Turia infiltration caper.

Torture

"Taken" (2008), a little over 1 hour into the movie (PAL DVD region 2), a long quote from Liam Neeson. Also Danny de Vito's character in the movie "Heist", named Bergman, with the reference to getting the captive to tell him the gross national product of Bolivia, as a more flippant example.
